Live weights can be entered when you mark a job as dropped off, and viewed or edited anytime afterward from the Heads tab. Here's how both work.
Entering Live Weight at Drop-Off
You can get to a job from several places — the Dashboard, Calendar, or Jobs in the left sidebar. Once you've found and opened the right job, click the Mark as Dropped Off button in the upper right corner of the page.
A pop-up will appear asking for the live weight of each animal before you proceed. This is optional — if you don't have the weight at that moment, you can leave it blank and continue. If you do enter a live weight and have notifications enabled, your producer will automatically receive a notification confirming the drop-off along with the weight you recorded.
Viewing and Editing Live Weights
After drop-off, you can find the recorded live weights by opening the job and clicking the Heads tab. This shows a list of every animal head in that job along with their tracking number, live weight, split type, and hanging weight.
Tip: The fastest way to enter live weights for multiple animals at once is at the time of drop-off — when you click Mark as Dropped Off, Farmshare prompts you for all live weights in a single screen before you proceed. Once that step is completed, live weights are locked. The Edit view on the Heads tab will only work to edit hanging weights after harvest. Marking as Killed will prompt the same pop up for hanging weights.
