Objective

Choose a hang time at booking
See the correct upcharge for longer hang times
Have drop-off and harvest dates calculated automatically
Confirm the default selection is 7 days unless another option is chosen.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure the Auto Schedule Harvest and Cut Dates for Beef setting is enabled before expecting hang time options to function correctly.
Double-check that the drop-off date is set to one day before harvest to avoid scheduling errors.
Verify all pricing changes before saving to prevent incorrect customer charges.
If auto-schedule cut date disappears after enabling configurable hang times, this is expected behavior.
Tips for Efficiency
Use the default hang to streamline most bookings.
Keep hang time options limited to the standard choices to reduce confusion for customers.
Test one sample booking after saving to confirm dates and pricing calculate correctly.
Document the approved upcharge amounts so staff can answer customer questions consistently.
