Editing Customer Contact Info

Keep your customer records up to date by editing contact details directly from the Customers page.

Getting There

In the left sidebar, click Customers to expand the menu, then select All Customers.

This shows a list of every customer in your Farmshare account, including their name, type, farm or company, email, and phone number.


How to Edit a Customer

There are two ways to open the edit panel for a customer:

From the customer list — click the three-dot menu () on the right side of any customer row and select Edit.

From the customer's profile — click the customer's name to open their full profile, then click the Edit button in the Customer Details section.

Either way, the same Edit Customer panel will appear with the following fields available to update:

  • Customer Type — Producer, Buyer, or Buyer & Producer

  • First and Last Name

  • Phone and/or Email — at least one contact method is required

  • Company — farm or ranch name

  • Address Information — click to expand and fill in if needed

Click Save when done.


Adding a New Customer

If you need to add a customer who isn't in Farmshare yet, click the + Add Customer button in the upper right corner of the Customers page.

The same form will appear as a blank entry — fill in their details and click Save.

Tip: You can also add new customers on the fly while scheduling a job or assigning a split — you don't have to come to the Customers page first. But if you want to get your customer list organized before you start scheduling, this is the place to do it.
