How to Set Up Your "About" Section

The About section is your chance to give customers a quick overview of your operation β€” they'll see this information when they're booking processing with you.

It's a great place to set expectations upfront and reduce back-and-forth questions!

Step 1: Navigate to Processor Settings From your dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar to expand the menu, then click Processor Settings.

Step 2: Find the About Section Once inside Processor Settings, look for the About tab in the navigation bar near the top of the page and click it. Scroll down and you'll see the About text box.

Step 3: Fill In Your Information The text box is a free-form editor, so you can type whatever is most helpful for your customers. Some ideas to get you started:

  • Facility description or overview

  • Pricing overview

  • De-horning requirements

  • Drop-off instructions and requirements

  • Drop-off location and directions

  • Any paperwork customers need to bring

There's no wrong answer here. Think about the questions you get asked most often and answer them proactively!

Step 4: Save Your Changes When you're done, click the green Save button in the bottom right corner.


Need inspiration? Here's a real example from one of our processors:

500lb minimum carcass weight charged plus Slaughter fee.

Beef, Yak, Bison Other Pricing: 3% will be charged on Credit Card transactions.

Storage is $5/box per month, charged on the last Tuesday of each month...
